Top Ladies of Distinction Chapter Opens Membership Michigan Metro Chapter looking to grow

The Michigan Metro Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., is seeking women ages 18 and up who would be interested in joining an organization whose purpose is to give service to the communities in Western Wayne County. The Membership Drive begins on October 15th and is ongoing. The organization wishes to interest and involve women in community service projects that uplift women, children and men in our communities.

The Michigan Metro Chapter has been serving the community since 1983. The organization's purpose is to serve youth and adults by enhancing and enriching their lives through programs of service that include Top Teens of America; improving the Status of Women; enhancing the lives of Senior Citizens; making our community beautiful and working with other service organizations in community service Partnerships.

The chapter has participated in the city of Inkster's Memorial Day Parades, hosted Senior Citizen Forums, have collaborated with Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta and Zeta Phi Beta Sororities, Inkster Task Force and other organizations to sponsor various community events and activities. There are many other projects the group has been involved in including support of the NAACP, NCNW, UNCF, and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness.
