Lt. Governor Gilchrist to keynote Western Wayne County NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner

It is with great honor that we invite you to attend the 22nd Annual NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 5:00pm – 8:00 p.m. (Seating will begin at 4:30 p.m.) at Prestige Banquet Hall located at 6600 Allen Rd in Allen Park MI.

They are pleased to announce that Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II will be the Keynote Speaker.

They are looking forward to hosting a spectacular evening, where they will fellowship with friends, recognize outstanding leaders from the community and remember the mission. They will also remember the successes over their 72 years of history of the Western Wayne County Branch and the 110th year of the NAACP.

The theme for this year is "Our future is now, Stand with Us." The theme supports the NAACP mission: to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

The branch has been making strides as they improve the lives of people in the 24 cities in the Western Wayne County area that they serve. Last year the Michigan State Conference awarded them with the 2018 Branch of the Year Award.

Tickets are $100.00 for adults and $50.00 for youth under 21 years of age. Each dinner ticket includes a one-year membership to the NAACP. There are Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available.
