Summer is beginning to wind down and Back to School sales are everywhere, but that doesn't mean all the fun is over yet. The city of Westland is hosting an outdoor family-friendly event which promises to be the last hurrah of summer.

The Fifth Annual Splash Bash will be held on Thursday, August 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The fun begins at the H2O Zone splash pad in Tattan Park, which covers over 20,000 square feet of ground and features an 18-foot helicopter sprayer and a massive dump bucket.
