Things are slowly, slowly, starting to come back

Things are starting to come back.

NASCAR restarted last Sunday with a race at Darlington, South Carolina.

Golf had a small charity event also last weekend.

Both without fans.

With the nicer weather, more people are venturing outside.

There is more traffic on the roads.

Beaches are opening in South Carolina and Florida.

Even here in the People’s Republic things are starting to slowly come back.

Auto plants are reopening.

I picked up my father in law at Metro Airport and there was people actually on the flight.

For me the sign that things are coming back, ever so slightly, is the fact that new comics start hitting the stores again this week.

YAYY!

Though we still can’t get haircuts.

My barber has his work cut out for him.

We need to petition the governor to give Owosso barber, Karl Manke, to get his licence back.

Side bar question: Why does a barber need a licence to cut hair?

We have until the 28th of May for this stay at home order. I am hoping for no more extensions and that the governor trusts the people of Michigan to self distance.

Most are wearing masks in stores, even me, even though I hate them.

I hope that this nightmare and self-imposed shutdown ends soon and we can get back to some sort of normal.
