EQUIPPED, a non-profit organization to benefit youth, awarded $10,000 in scholarships at a Drive-In Baccalaureate and Dinner extravaganza on Saturday, August 1, 2020. The festive celebration included live music provided by N4Structure, a graduate parade, and a pageant featuring the ten $1,000 recipients as they showcased their talents, exhibited their special interests, and shared their college and career aspirations. The evening concluded with acknowledgments of the scholarship donors, an inspirational message, and prayer for the graduates. The EQUIPPED executive board members Gyrlene Page and Pamela Parham-Jones, along with Dr. Fleda S.
