Santa makes his yearly visit through Metro Detroit

December 31, 2020

Santa gives books to the Free Library in front of Ecorse City Hall

Each year for over 50 years our local Santa has loaded up his sled with gifts and drove through the streets of Metropolitan Detroit giving out toys. Kids of all ages would stand in amazement when they see the sled and Santa coming down the street or driving on the highway.

We love you Santa (Myron Benford) for your continued support of the community and for bringing a glimpse of joy to our lives.

This year was a little different so Santa penned a letter to the community.

To Believers, Contributors and Volunteers;

Santa stopped by the Veterans hospital to spread some cheer to those who have served us

Santa and Mrs. Claus would like to thank you for your continual support during the Holiday Season. It has been a difficult time, but we continued to carry out our tradition of giving with social distancing in place.

We reached out to others for support and we delivered through individuals, churches and organizations to supply food, toys and gift cards to the community.

Face masks were delivered to first responders and emergency areas at St. Johns, Wyandotte, Macomb and the VA Hospitals.

We also delivered books to the FREE Library over Downriver and Metropolitan Detroit area.

For those who saw Santa in his sled with reindeers, spread the experience in your own way with others.

Again, we thank you. Be good and stay safe as we are in the process of Healing America.

Santa
