LANSING - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II released a joint video today to kick off Black History Month and reflect upon the contributions of Black Americans who have shaped history. The governor also proclaimed February 2021 as Black History Month in Michigan.
