WAYNE COUNTY - Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and an overwhelming demand for payment plans and appointments, the Wayne County Treasurer is extending the deadline for payment plan enrollment as well as foreclosure redemption until May 14, 2021. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the Wayne County Treasurer's Office online payment plan enrollment and remote payment methods throughout the redemption period.

For taxpayer assistance and to make an appointment, taxpayers can contact our office by going online at waynecounty.com/treasurer. Appointments are required. NO walk-ins will be honored at this time.

The Treasurer's office is complying with state and federal guidelines for social distancing and hygiene practices requiring a face mask before entering the building. People are requested to stand six feet apart in lines at the Treasurer's office.
