Resources for flood victims

Since Friday night, Wayne Metro Community Action Agency has been working alongside local leaders and organizations to support residents who experienced severe flooding due to the rain event of June 25th and 26th. Wayne Metro is able to dispatch PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) Teams to help relocate residents to temporary, emergency housing while home clean up efforts take place.

The Agency is also accepting applications for emergency food and supplies, rent and utility assistance, along with property and income tax assistance. Additionally, Wayne Metro is also accepting applications for the Great Lakes Water Authority WRAP (Water Residential Assistance Program) that provides eligible residents of the GLWA service area with payment assistance and home water conservation services.

Call (313) 388-9799 or visit http://www.waynemetro.org/Programs to find out what programs you may be eligible for.
