Shirley was born in Detroit, MI. She has seven beautiful children, 29 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

She worked at the Post Office and was a house wife.

Her family members that are deceased are her beloved husband - Arnell Drew; other Joel, Brandon and Helen.

Living children - Courtney, Sharon, Barbara, Kevin, Gerald, Andre & Timothy

The Motto she lives by is; God will never leave us or forsake us!

Who inspires her - Her mother was her greatest inspiration. She taught me well and I obeyed my mother. I miss my mother dearly She will always be in my heart. She kept us all in church so we would know about our heavenly Father.

What do you remember most about growing up in the community where you did? I remembers the community and other parents kept a close eye on us and I appreciated that.

What type of activities would you like to participate in? I always like to participate in activities where my family could be around me.

What message would you like to give your grandchildren? I love them all and our Heavenly Father loves them first and always do the right things in life.

Her favorite song: I doesn't have a favorite song, but I love gospel songs.

Her favorite movie: I'm not fond of movies, like I was when I was younger.

Her favorite person: I love all of my family the same. No favoritism for me. I put our Heavenly Father first.
