Sorting through the tasks involving the end of a life has been his life's calling for Gregory McClary, owner and manager of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in Westland. At the age of nine, McClary recalls his decision to one day become an undertaker, the term used at that time, while he and his mother tended to his great-grandmother's funeral. A year later at the age of 10, McClary's mother engaged him in an afterschool job at a local funeral home in South Carolina, where he was raised.
