Wayne-Westland Community Schools has been awarded a $3 million Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Grant through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This grant is part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to help schools and libraries support remote learning.
"Wayne-Westland received the biggest award in Michigan. We would like to thank our Technology Department for targeting this grant to address the device and connectivity shortcomings experienced by our students," said John Dignan, Superintendent, Wayne-Westland Community Schools.
