WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY NAACP HOST FREEDOM FUND DINNER

The announcement of the 2022 Western Wayne County NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner has been made. The speakers for the dinner will be Byron Brooks – Activist and Founder of "From The Hood for The Hood" and Laura Dickerson – UAW Region 1A Director. This year is historic as they celebrate their 75th Anniversary. The theme for this year is: "Accelerating Change Despite the Odds"

This will be the first in person dinner since the COVID-19 pandemic, which led them to do things differently. They aree having a traditional sit-down dinner where people can meet old friends and make new ones. During the Awards...
