National Prescription Take Back Day

 

October 27, 2022

On Saturday, October 29, local police departments and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration are encouraging

the public to rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring all

unused pills for disposal to drop boxes at any of the below locations. This service is free, anonymous and open to

the public. No questions asked.

Rates of prescription drug abuse in the United States are alarmingly high, as are the number of accidental

poisonings and overdoses due to these drugs. Keep your family and community safe, properly dispose of all unused

prescription medications as soon as they are no longer needed.
