Second-grade student, Derrick Howard, adopts his entire school for Christmas

Derrick Howard, a second-grade student at Taft-Galloway Elementary adopted his entire school for the holidays!

He told his mom that not all of his friends might get gifts for Christmas so he wanted to get something for all the students at his school. His mom reached out to a network of willing helpers and she and Derrick spent the few weeks before the Christmas break collecting and sorting the gifts.

The gifts were given out to all Taft-Galloway students....
