LANSING, MI. (Feb. 21, 2023) - Sen. Erika Geiss (D-Taylor) issued the following statement on the Southwest Detroit land swap deal that passed Detroit City Council today:

"I am disappointed that residents' voices were not listened to and concerns were not addressed as City Council approved this deal that sends a core piece of the Hubbard Richard neighborhood to the Maroun family.
