June 15, 2023, Wyandotte, MI. Downriver Delta Community Development Corporation is excited to announce Kelly Johnson as the latest addition to the Board of Directors. Kelly lives and works in the city of Wyandotte. She has graduated from University of Michigan Dearborn with a Bachelor's in Urban Policy and Planning. Her area of concentration in her Master's Program is Green Infrastructure Design. As such, she is a valuable addition to the board. Her keen eye and imaginative vision will bring forth a fresh perspective to the organization.

Kelly's capstone project for her Master's is framed around Green Infrastructure installations that mitigate noise and air pollution, specifically within the 48217 zip code. Kelly is excited to offer new ideas and fresh insight to Downriver Delta's current projects. We look forward to working with Kelly on this new chapter of Downriver Delta CDC's future.

Downriver Delta Community Development Corporation (DDCDC) is a Michigan based 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the communities of Detroit (48217) Ecorse, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge Wyandotte. Their mission is to encourage regional collaboration through education of citizens, elected officials, businesses and other stake holders to promote economic development, quality of life and social equity.
