Ecorse Senior Center Hosts Mother's Day Brunch

Nearly three dozen mothers were treated to a Mother's Day celebration at the Ethel Stevenson Senior and Community Center in Ecorse last Tuesday, May 14. Ecorse Parks and Recreation Staff Member Veronica Jackson explains, "We do it every year and this year we have something new-they're going to be making candles. We catered the food and we just have fun. They just sit and socialize and get out of the house, and they exchange phone numbers of people they meet here and keep in contact."
