"Be You" Women's Extravaganza in celebration of Women's History Month

UAW-Ford Diversity and Inclusion will host the Be You Extravaganza on Saturday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year's event will be held at the UAW-Ford's National Programs Center located at 151 W. Jefferson, Detroit, MI 48226

The extravaganza themed "Be-You" dares women to be: Passionate, Bold, Ambitious, Awesome, Inspired, and Courageous. This Free extravaganza will include enrichment seminars led by experts in finance, health, and wellness. Some of the featured guest speakers includes Gail Perry Mason, Dr. Pauline Furman, and Sharon Winfrey. The keynote speaker will be Detroit native, author, and acclaimed lecturer, Goldie Patrick who will deliver an empowering message that will motivate and inspire women to push towards the boldest parts of themselves. Patrick's message will help women investigate how to live, work, and thrive.

"We are very excited to host our third annual women's extravaganza honoring Women's History Month" said event co-organizer Ruth Golden. "Throughout history, women have made some incredible contributions to society and when we support each other, great things happen" added Golden.

Continuing its commitment to empowering women, UAW-Ford will have nearly 50 women-owned businesses with the latest fashion, trendy jewelry, gourmet treats, health, and beauty products and much more.
