Adams Middle School student, Princess Ikenyi, qualifies as National History Day alternate

Series: LOCAL STUDENT SPOTLIGHT | Story 1

Adams Middle School student Princess Ikenyi knows a lot about history. She was selected as a National Qualifier Alternate to represent the state of Michigan for National History Day in Washington D.C. She is one of the top qualifiers from students in the rest of the 50 states.

She will only participate if one of the top two is unable to fulfill the qualifications needed to continue.

She was able to accomplish this through her hard work and dedication in her Accelerated Social Studies class. Her teacher is Carl Lowe.

This is a huge accomplishment for Princess, Adams Middle School, and the Wayne Westland School District.
