The Detroit Tigers will welcome back fans to Comerica Park on April 8th, Opening Day. There are some new food items and beverages, giveaways items, merchandise, Tigers Authentic items, corporate partners and much more.

Upon entering the games, you may notice newly branded entrances. Gate A is now the Comerica Entry, Gate B is the Rocket Entry and Gate C is now Gallagher Entry. The Chevrolet Pavilion - located left field- has a new bar, canopy, and signage. The foul poles now say Rocket, a nice shout out to the partner. The bag policy has gone smaller, only wallets sized 4" x 6" x 1.5" or smaller are permitted. In better news, Comerica Bank customers and card holders receive additional benefits at the ballpark.

For the first time, the Tigers will host the Miller Lite Opening Day Tailgate in the McLaren Garage Plaza and along Witherell Street. During opening weekend, April 9-13, the Miller lite package includes a ticket plus a $10 food and beverage credit. Vizzy has partnered with the Tigers for Vizzy Thursdays, two tickets for $39 bucks.

The 2022 brand new membership platform still has a 12-month payment plan and complementary ticket exchange for when your social calendar interferes with the games. The Tigers' administration has done a great job listening to the fans and creating a membership best served for their loyal fans. Visit tiger.com/1901 for information. The new kids club memberships, for only $16, allows kids to enjoy special inside access and exclusive perks.

The Chevy Sunday kids' day return for this season. Every Sunday at Comerica Park, kids in attendance age 12 and under can run the bases after the game. Free Carousel and Ferris Wheel rides on the Comerica Park concourse will return for kids in the listed age group. Sunday will include face painting and personalized baseball cards. In addition, the Sunday Family Value deal includes four lower-level seats, four hot dogs and four drinks for $99. Another return to this year season is the Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 raffle, during all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games.

The Tigers will host numerous Theme Nights and Special Events. There will be five concerts this year at Comerica, brought to you by 313 Presents, the most ever held in a season. This season's fan giveaway items include magnets, hats, and Miguel Cabrera 500 home run figurine. The D Shop will have new merchandise and authenticated Tigers items for the 2022 season. A special tribute to "Sweet Lou" will occur when his jersey will be retired during the August 6th game against Tampa Bay.

"We are thrilled to welcome Tigers fan back to Comerica Park," said Ellen Hill-Zeringue, VP of Marketing. The Detroit Tigers administration has worked diligently and kept an open ear to the fans of the Tigers to make each season special, memorable and exciting.
