Southwest Detroit park to host a free fun-health-music-food-salute fest


DETROIT, MI – Eden Park, a 5½-acre property in Southwest Detroit that is being repurposed into an eco-friendly park for residents in three cities, will be home to a free festival this weekend.

The May 27-28 afternoons festival at 12001 Gleason in Detroit includes live music, food, a petting zoo, free health screenings, a salute to veterans, dance lessons, and a courageous chef competition, among other activities. It is being put on by the Tri-City Community Development Corporation.
