Wayne County Commissioners approve additional American Recovery Plan Act projects

Wayne County Commissioners today unanimously authorized a total of nearly $21.5 million in additional American Recovery Plan Act of 2021 projects to benefit students and seniors.

Approved recipients include:

- The Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA), which will receive up to $13,495,129 to provide mental health counselors and reading and mathematics coaches in 32 public school districts, and charter schools, under its jurisdiction in suburban communities.
