JESSIE ENGLISH

Jessie Ruth English was born in Detroit and graduated from Northwestern High in 1965. After graduation she received a BA from Wayne State University and a MS from University of Detroit in 1994. She worked for the State of Michigan MESC for 25 years and retired in 1997. She loved playing bingo, knitting and reading. She loved traveling with her son and grandchildren and taking her grandchildren to different places. She was a loving and caring mother to her only child John Jenkins Sr.

Jessie leaves to cherish her memory, her son John Jenkins Sr., two grandchildren one brother Thomas English, sister in law Allene English and a host of family and friends.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home in Detroit.
